Witchcraft Level 2
Lesson 1 - Who are the Gods
The gods mean different things to different people, therefore, the gods are seen as a mystery to be explored by the individual. In this class we will learn about polytheism and monotheism and the many faces of God. We will explore why we need to know the gods and were they ever real. You will learn about the Fivefold Divinity, archetypal beings, cultural pantheons, patrons and religious worship. You will learn the basics of working with the gods.
Lesson 2 - The Elements
The elements are the building blocks of our reality - earth, air, fire, and water. In this class you will learn about elemental realms, elemental beings, elemental guardians, elemental tools, as well as, gateways to the elemental realms, elemental healing, and astrology and the elements.
Lesson 3 - Fire and Water
Fire and water, Hot and cold, dry and wet, sun and moon, together they are the primal polarity, the action of energy, movement, and creation. In this class you will learn about the power of will and wands, attuning with fire, fire guardians. You will also learn about love and the chalice, attuning with water, water guardians.
Lesson 4 - Air and Earth
Air and earth, sky and land, partners eternally linked as images of the God and Goddess in pagan mythology. In this class you will learn about the truth and the blade, attuning with air, air guardians. You will also learn about the sovereignty and the stone, attuning with earth, earth guardians.
Lesson 5 - Tools of the Craft
Witchcraft uses many tools but not all of them are physical. In this class you will learn how to build the altar, set up the altar, common issues with tools and altars, cleansing and consecration, and altar devotionals.
Lesson 6 - Divination of True Will
Divination loosely translated is to read the future, but in the structure of the word we learn the profound sacredness that is inherent in the act. In this class you will learn about nonlinear time, tools of divination, oracle systems, scrying, and psychometry.
Lesson 7 - The Witch's Circle
Enter the witch's circle, a sacred space beyond space, a time beyond time. You will learn about ritual clothing, purifying the space, casting the circle, types of circles, basic rules for the circle.
Lesson 8 - The Science of Spellcraft
Just like witchcraft, there are basic principles, foundation stones, upon which magick and spells operate. You will learn about the three keys, thought forms, the bounce-back effect, visualization, petition spells, astrological timing, the moon, planets, aspects, things to beware.
Lesson 9 - The Art of Spellcraft
As there is a science to spells, with a basic formula for the foundation of magickal manifestation, there is also an art. You will learn types of magick, vessels for magick, material magicka, crafting your own spells.
Lesson 10 - Turning the Wheel
The Wheel of the Year is one of the strongest foundation stones on the path of the witch. You will learn the story of the Goddess and the God, how and why we celebrate, to use magick or not to use magick, timing and location.
Lesson 11 - Weaving the Web
Community is one of the strongest aspects of the craft, but also one of its biggest weaknesses. You will learn about the broom closet and why people choose to stay secretive about their beliefs. You will also learn about witch wars and web weaving, meaning making connections within the pagan community.
Lesson 12 - Coven Working
If you learned your craft in a traditional coven, you would have learned to do rituals and spellwork in the context of a group as well as a solitary. You will learn the basics of the coven, group consciousness, and group rituals.
Lesson 13 - Second Initiation
The second degree mark of traditional witchcraft is the role of priest and priestess. You will learn about preparation, complementary training, and traditional second initiation rituals.
